Where are we today? Terrible Times in the Last Days are upon us.

Terrible Times in the Last Days .. where are we today?

Timothy 3:1-5 .. (NIRV) .. Here is what I want you to know. There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will love themselves. They will love money. They will brag and be proud. They will tear others down. They will not obey their parents. They won’t be thankful or holy. 3 They won’t love others. They won’t forgive others. They will tell lies about people. They will be out of control. They will be wild. They will hate what is good.

4 They will turn against their friends. They will act without thinking. They will think they are better than others. They will love what pleases them instead of loving God. 5 They will act as if they were serving God. But what they do will show that they have turned their backs on God’s power. Have nothing to do with those people.

The Times in our country .. in our state of the family .. our relationships .. our religion .. the information age .. in these "last days" .. God says - I want you to have an "intimate knowledge" of me .. more intimate than that of a husband and wife ..

This really does beg the question and introspection of our own lives .. where are we today? Are we aware  of the "wolf in sheeps clothing" .. and what his goal is? Does it matter to you?

Doubts and Fear we, just like doubting Thomas .. we sruggle in our doubt

Doubting Thomas .. a man like us

Bible Study: John 20:25-29

Thomas is in every man - we all have doubt . He hadn’t yet seen the resurrected Jesus, though he’d heard, as you and I have heard, that Jesus had risen from the dead. Angry, hurt, and confused, he resisted believing the accounts of the resurrection that his very friends had told him about, yet these accounts that came from trusted friends .. the people he had lived his life with for three years.

Thomas was no stranger to resurrection. With his own eyes, he’d seen Jesus raise Lazarus from the dead and he had believed. But he had also personally seen Jesus crucified, and that’s when his dream of the kingdom died. Crucifixion seemed more powerful than resurrection, more final. His faith crumbled; and his hope was crushed.

Then Jesus appeared alive, and gently said, “Peace be with you, offering Thomas all the proof he needed. The proof he personally needed. Resurrection, it turns out, was more permanent than death.

Face it: Believing in resurrection isn’t easy no matter how many people tell you it happened. Jesus still has to bring us to belief, to give our hearts and minds and souls peace in faith. Without appearing physically to us, He gives us what we need in order to believe and what we ourselves need. And as He did with Thomas, Jesus seeks us out .. just as here He seeks to comfort you and me.

1. Think back to the first time you were told that Jesus had risen from the dead. How old were you? .. What was your reaction? Did you find that information easy to believe or terribly difficult? Ask Why?

2. Thomas had seen miracles; he’d witnessed many demonstrations of Jesus’ supernatural power. Yet the crucifixion shook his faith badly. What has  shaken your faith to the core? .. even though you may previously have seen numerous works of God? What can you learn from Thomas’s experience?

3. In order to believe, Thomas needed something tangible ..something special for him. The vast majority of Christians have never seen the resurrected Jesus, yet God gives us what we each need in order to believe. What do you need for faith to become real? How has Jesus revealed Himself to you? ... are you seeking to know the truth?

If any of you need wisdom, ask God for it. He will give it to you!

James 1:5 - (NIRV) .. 5 If any of you need wisdom, ask God for it. He will give it to you. God gives freely to everyone. He doesn’t find fault.

Make Insight Your Priority, Proverbs 2

Good friend, take to heart what I’m telling you;
collect my counsels and guard them with your life.
Tune your ears to the world of Wisdom;
set your heart on a life of Understanding.
That’s right—if you make Insight your priority,
and won’t take no for an answer,
Searching for it like a prospector panning for gold,
like an adventurer on a treasure hunt,
Believe me, before you know it Fear-of-God will be yours;
you’ll have come upon the Knowledge of God.

Acquiring Wisdom - It’s critical we learn to be wise. While the world defines wisdom as the right use of knowledge and information, godly wisdom means that we have the capacity to see things from God’s viewpoint and respond according to the principles of Scripture.

Do you have time to learn how God thinks? Then learn of his Name - learn more about God today. Every act has a pricetag .. if i reverence God .. I will seek to know who He is .. and act upon His principles. Heed His instruction and be wise. Be Blessed Today!

A Call, A Warning - The Wealthy, Rich Hoarders of This World

James 5:1-6, A Warning to Rich People .. something to think about these days ..
1 You rich people, listen to me. Cry and sob, because you will soon be suffering. 2 Your riches have rotted. Moths have eaten your clothes. 3 Your gold and silver have lost their brightness. Their dullness will give witness against you. Your wanting more and more will eat your body like fire. You have stored up riches in these last days. 4 You have even failed to pay the workers who mowed your fields. Their pay is crying out against you. The cries of those who gathered the harvest have reached the ears of the Lord who rules over all. 5 You have lived an easy life on earth. You have given yourselves everything you wanted. You have made yourselves fat like cattle that will soon be butchered. 6 You have judged and murdered people who aren’t guilty. And they weren’t even opposing you.

In this chapter the apostle James denounces the judgments of God upon those rich men and women who not only oppress the poor, fail to help a neighbor in need and the folly of riches and wealth in the sight of God. Think about it - God does not need your wealth or money , or anyone' elses - He Owns It All!,

How much do the wealthy "grieve" when the end comes near? What punishments would befall those who only care for themselves? The faitful Christians and believers are exhorted to patience under their trials and sufferings, and to recall that verse you learned when young - Proverbs 3:5 - Trust In The Lord with ALL THINE HEART .. and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Having a proper and spiritual ( God Centered View ) of how we are to strive to act, both under affliction and in prosperity .. prayer for the sick, and anointing with oil, are prescribed - and Christians are directed to acknowledge their faults one to another, and to pray one for another, and the efficacy of prayer is proved. And, lastly, it is recommended to us to do what we can for bringing back those that stray from the ways of truth.

Please consider helping our ministry - first by prayer .. and then as God would lead you ..

Share the faith with friends, church members and Bible Study groups

Our ministry at is growing! .. we’re well on our way to reaching around the world - but with that comes change and effort. Every visitor to our site is a vital part of the community and we appreciate you - and ask that you share the faith - with friends, church members, Bible Study groups .. and we realize it can be hard to interact with friends from your past.

We’re trying to expand our reach around the world - The World Wide Web is a place we feel we reach anyone looking and seeking the saving grace of Jesus .. and a personal relationship with Our Lord. As our outreach grows and expands, those seeking to know more about God may not want to connect because they face real dangers when they communicate with us - not all countries are free like we in the USA.

We’re seeking to disciple and reach people around the world... so we're praying and seeking opportunities where those who can minister in Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Arabic - wherever and however you can share online - responding and sharing with the Google Translate or where you know the language but also the culture of those seeking to know God better - utilizing technology to respond in a variety of ways in countries hostile to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. More and more people are using mobile devices.

As we continue to pursue our vision to reach the world with the Good News of Jesus, will you pray with us .. and for us? - Pray for God’s guidance in our ministry and support, and ask God to bless us with visitors who will minister by sharing with those they know who are desperate to know Jesus Christ - after all this is part of fulfilling the Great Commission. Praise God for the work He is doing through

New Series on The End Times - Biblical Sudy Series

Do you believe we are living in the End Times?

It seems like you can’t turn on the news without seeing signs pointing to us living in the last days. Dr. Ed Young is starting a series of messages on The Winning Walk this weekend called End Times, and we invite you to watch this quick video he recorded about it: The curtain of history is about to go down. So if you are wanting to get a biblical, straight forward look into the truth about the end times - i'd suggest you set aside the time for listening to The Winning Walk with Dr. Ed Young .. find a station or TV program in your area

Have a divine connection and start living life to the full!

Visiting daily .. and often .. you can  "learn of Him each day" .. and find answers to everyday living in your new Christian walk. One of the best ways I have ever found is reading something of God .. His Person .. His Character .. His Word - EACH DAY! You can rest assured each day .. something with a practical application for your life will be most helpful... for instance:

Foundations of Our Faith: SALVATION

What is Christianity really all about? How does the Bible apply to my life? Who is Jesus Christ? .. you can register for an email course, and we'll answer these questions and many, many more - Foundations of Our Faith is a discipleship course that will deliver a new lesson and memory verse to your email inbox every day. Each lesson is part of a topical section, covering topics that are essential to forming a Bible centered perspective and deeper walk with God, through His Son, Jesus.

Let's start with salvation ...

How many people have a story to tell about how they came to accept Jesus as their Savior. Some people have stood outside the doorway of a church during Easter or Christmas .. afraid to enter, but listening intently as the pastor or preacher said, "Jesus is your Savior. He will save you from your sins. When you are in need, call on Jesus."

Then when truoble strikes .. and hardships come our way - we remember the preacher's words and in desperation we cry out!  "Jesus, help me! Jesus, save me!" Needless to say, God will hear your plea! THEN WHAT? .. go on with life as usual?

The same Lord Jesus that saved me, can save you. is that worth learning more about?

What if you had been born to some rich, weel to do family - like the Rockefellers'? You’d expect to have some advantages, right? If you were born into the Kennedy family or the son or daughter of Bill Gates - you’d probably get preferential treatment whever you went. You’d naturally expect things that other people may not expect - right?

The good news today is that when you receive Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, you are born again into the right family! You come from a royal bloodline. Your Father owns everything. He has special connections. Now you need to hold your head up high and start expecting to stand out from the crowd. Start expecting good breaks, divine connections and opportunities to come your way.

You can have favor because of who your Father is through the Blood of Christ Jesus - so expect His abundant favor on your life today! Receive Him as your Lord and Savior.

Where Does Wisdom Come From? .. where do I find understanding?

When you consider the thought of finding gems of wisdom, pearls of great price, or mining out some precious emeralds, diamonds, rubies or sapphires - remember that God is very specific about true WISDOM ..

Our happiness and effectiveness as moms, dads, brothers, or sisters - depend upon the kinds of thoughts we think. It is impossible to be kind if we constantly are thinking unkind thoughts. One of the wisest men who ever lived from what I can find and read is JOB who finally said to The Lord:

2 “I know that you can do anything.
No one can keep you from doing what you plan to do.
3 You asked me, ‘Who do you think you are to disagree with my plans?
You do not know what you are talking about.’
I spoke about things I didn’t completely understand.
I talked about things that were too wonderful for me to know.

Our minds are like the earth, after all , were we all not "formed" from the dust ? ..  so our minds are like the earth which hides it's most valuable riches. If we plant thoughts of fear, unkindness, anger - as if seeds - we will harvest the fruit of those seeds. Fill your mind with resentment, and resentment attitudes will begin to sprout - then grow and emerge into a big ugly tree!

However, what if you were to dig deep, blast away at the "old you" .. mine deep down to where you know the hidden gems are .. THEN WHAT? You can you find happiness-inducing thoughts, thoughts of real Godly Wisdom, whatever the condition of your mind - the Thought Conditioners contained on this site will keep you going in power and love - they will help you to displace unhealthy dirt (thoughts) and create a mine shaft to truth and wisdom - Displacement is the only way to get the trash of thought - out of your mind.

This means, simply, that if you take a shovel and pick of spiritual thoughts and words - dig down deep into your own mind - as if from your conscious to your subconscious levels - by a process of spiritual mining and digging - you will find spiritual power, spiritual and Godly Wisdom and God's will can begin to operate your mine - Every great and valuable gem, sapphire, ruby of wisdom, diamond of light, gold and silver findings of this life, the ones that matter - shall be granted to you, as promised in God's Word:

2 Corinthians 1:20 (NIRV)

20 God has made a great many promises. They are all “Yes” because of what Christ has done. So through Christ we say “Amen.” We want God to receive glory.

Today let's consider what Job 28 says about the "Truth of God's Wisdom" .. Mining .. and the reality of God's Truth ..

28 “There are mines where silver is found. There are places where gold is purified. 2 Iron is taken out of the earth. Copper is melted down from ore. 3 A miner lights up the darkness. He searches for ore in the deepest pits. He looks for it in the blackest darkness. 4 Far from where people live he cuts a tunnel. He does it in places where others don’t go. Far away from people he swings back and forth on ropes. 5 Food grows on the surface of the earth. But far below, the earth is changed as if by fire. 6 Sapphires are taken from its rocks. Its dust contains nuggets of gold. 7 No bird knows the miner’s hidden path. No falcon’s eye has seen it. 8 Proud animals don’t walk on it. Lions don’t prowl there. 9 The miner attacks the hardest rock. His strong hands uncover the base of the mountains. 10 He tunnels through the rock. His eyes see all of its treasures. 11 He searches the places where the rivers begin. He brings hidden things out into the light.

"Leading The Way" for Muslims USA - Dr. Michael Yousseff

From an email This Week from "Leading The Way" .. by Dr. Michael Yousseff

How Can We Reach Boston? .. this is what he wrote: "Ibi is a Muslim immigrant from Palestine. While imprisoned, he listened to Leading The Way programming every week because it was the only source of comfort he could find in his mother tongue." "Roda could not get her son to read the Bible or listen to any Christian messages. As she spoke primarily Arabic, and he spoke primarily English, language was a barrier. But one day, while riding in the car, they were both able to connect spiritually as they heard Dr. Youssef’s message broadcast in both English and Arabic." "After a church member shared details of Leading The Way’s local radio program with a Muslim taxi driver, the taxi driver replied, 'I listen to this every week! The first time I found this station, I couldn’t believe that I was hearing something in my own language in America.'"

Ibi, Roda, and the Muslim taxi driver all shared the same need: access to the Gospel in their own language. But what other surprising similarity do these Leading The Way listeners share?  .. They do not live in the Middle East or North Africa—they live in Richmond, Va.

In March 2013, faithful partners helped Leading The Way raise the funds needed to continue Arabic-English broadcasting in Richmond, VA. These are the testimonies they received in response .. testimonies of God transforming hearts and overcoming language barriers in our own backyard - Outside of Washington, DC and The East Coast. Several weeks later on April 15, 2013, two bombs exploded at the Boston Marathon, killing three people and injuring hundreds more. It was later revealed that the event was a blatant terrorist attack executed by two young Muslim extremists.

The impact of our outreach on the Muslim community in Richmond got Dr. Michael Youssef and his staff thinking .. how can we reach Boston?
If you live in the Philadelphia area, join Dr. Michael Youssef this Wednesday at 7 p.m. for a special WFIL Listener Appreciation Night. You won’t want to miss this special opportunity to hear from Leading The Way’s Founder and President. It’s not too late to register for this free event!

Trust In The Lord - With All Your Heart - Not Your Understanding

Luke 17:14 - (NIRV) - 14 Jesus saw them and said, “Go. Show yourselves to the priests.” While they were on the way, they were healed.

One time in the Scripture, there were ten lepers who saw Jesus. They hollered out, “Jesus! Have mercy on us and make us whole!” Jesus could have healed them right then, but instead, He asked them to do something to express their faith. He said, “Go show yourself to the Priest, and you will be made whole.”

This Is Most Interesting .. WHY? .. It’s interesting that those lepers were not supposed to be around other people. They had to live in colonies because they were contagious and considered unclean. I’m sure they debated among themselves, “Do you really think we should go? I don’t look any better. It’s just going to be a waste of our time.” But they dared to put action behind their faith. They decided, “Jesus said if we go, we will be well. Let’s go. Let’s take a step of faith.” The Scripture says, “As they went, they were made whole.”

Friend, what is God telling you to do in your heart today?

Take a step of faith. Put action behind faith. As you step out and show that your faith is in Him, you will see His miracle-working power flow in every area of your life!
