If any of you need wisdom, ask God for it. He will give it to you. God gives freely to everyone. He doesen't find fault. James 1:5 (NIRV)

Ask Jesus .. and receive the free gift of salvation - ABC's of Salvation

A. Admit .. you have sinned.

“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.”

B. Believe in the Saving Blood of Jesus Christ

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

C. Confess .. and tell Jesus you want to turn away from your sin.

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness”

... SALVATION .. is a gift paid for by JESUS

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast.”
– Ephesians 2:8-9

Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone in Christ alone. Confess Jesus is Lord and believe and trust in Him.
Romans 10:9

It is only by God’s grace (His FREE gift) that we are saved. Humble yourself, repent, and put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ. Repent means to turn away from your sin and agree with God that you are a sinner. Faith in Jesus Christ means trusting in Him alone for your salvation and making Him the Lord of your life.

Now is the day of salvation. You are not guaranteed tomorrow. Eternity is forever. Don’t wait to decide on your eternity.

GOD LOVES YOU

“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were sinners, Christ died for us”
Romans 5:8

There are many misconceptions about the God of the Bible, but the truth is that HE LOVES YOU and ME! He wants to have a relationship with us. God doesn’t want anyone to go to hell, but desires that all people including you to be with Him in Heaven. Why?

1 John 4:9 – This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.

John 3:16 – For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

GOD IS HOLY AND JUST

” .. it is appointed for men to die once, but after this judgment,…” – Hebrews 9:27.

If, on the day you die, God judges you by the Ten Commandments, would you or I, be innocent or guilty? Just be honest with yourself; you will be guilty of sin and God will separate Himself from guilty sinners. Yes, God is a loving God, but He is also holy and just God .. He is a just judge. Sin is so serious an offense to God that He cannot allow it into Heaven nor will He allow it to go unpunished. Would not a judge who allowed a criminal to go free be a corrupt judge? God is not corrupt. He is perfectly righteous, holy, and just. There are only two options for our eternal souls: HEAVEN OR HELL – and Jesus “paid the price” for our sins .. past, present and future – all we need do is turn to Him and ask for His forgiveness.

AM I GOOD ENOUGH TO GET TO HEAVEN?

Righteousness Through Faith
21 But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. 22 This righteousness is given through faith in[h] Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. 25 God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement,[i] through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— 26 he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.

The Bible says that faith is confidence in what we hope for and the assurance that the Lord is working, even though we cannot see it. Faith knows that no matter what the situation, in our lives or someone else’s, that the Lord is working in it.

JESUS PAID IT ALL

JESUS WAS PUNISHED TO BRING YOU ETERNAL PEACE WITH GOD

The Bible says, “…having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him” Romans 5:9. Without Jesus, God’s wrath abides on you. Jesus took the punishment for your sins so that you can be at peace with God and live with Him for all eternity.

  • When Jesus was whipped and beaten .. He bled
  • When they pressed the crown of thorns into His head .. He bled
  • When they drove spikes through .. His hands and feet .. He bled
  • As JESUS hung on the Cross .. His blood flowed for you and me!

Then He died and your debt and my debts of sin was paid in FULL. Jesus did not deserve this punishment, this was our punishment. Jesus was without sin, He was innocent. His blood was shed for you and I and washed away our sin debt .. the day Jesus died on the cross.

Jesus, as both God and man, is the only one qualified to pay the penalty for your sins. Jesus says, ” I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

John 14:6.
Death could not hold HIm and He rose fromt he dead on the third day – proving that God accepted His sacrifice, proving that Jesus is the Fullness God, become man ..and proving that only Jesus’ sacriffice can save you and I from our sin debt.
