When you rely on God .. He alone will respond to you and your difficulties. Seeking God for guidance ( Jehovah Rohi – Our God Who Shepherds and Guides Us ) .. In turn, you will experience the Holy Spirit’s presence, provision, power and, as a result, spiritual growth. You will, in time be capable of accomplishments far greater than imaginable when your assurance comes from the Lord Our God. Perhaps you will demonstrate a depth of endurance .. while others around you is in an uproar and not at peace. You might receive a leadership position beyond your perceived abilities .. or maybe find pleasure and success in doing an unfamiliar task .. or helping another person. If you mix trust in God with reliance on self, your calm demeanor will waver in doubts – But when your security rests in El Elyon – The Most High God – you will show conviction about the promises and Words of Jesus Christ the Prince of Peace. Others will notice that God has inspired your confidence. As they watch you in unexpected ways .. you will grow spiritually, and exhibit an inner peace that you have never had before. People will notice what you have, and you can influence them to learn of Christ. You can build confidence in God by meditating on His Word, knowing who He is, and drawing near to Him through prayer and His Promises.
